I think Halak is in Buffalo ready to play and they called up Marc Denis to back him up. Price will be shipped to Tampa along with Higgins, PK Subban and a first round pick for Vinny. As much as I loathe the Leafs I do admire Brian Burke and his cantankerous self. He loves giving Duthie a hard time. He's always so aloufe. Tough interview for Duthie.

vermette for leclaire....

Not too exciting but a trade nonetheless. Antoine vermette from Ottawa for goalie Pascal leclaire and a second round pick from Columbus blue jackets. Lecalire is a very good goalie and will help Ottawa, he's had alot of injuries lately. The winner of this trade I would think is Columbus, they are dumping leclaire's $3.8 salary and picking up a guy making a million less that has playoff experience and a 2 time 20+ goal scorer. Steve Mason is Columbus's #1 goalie now anyway.

If Antropov ends up in Montreal I'll be the first to set my hair on fire. i don't want any Leaf cancer on the habs. The panel is mentioning he would be a good fit in Vancouver, why would Vancouver want all these ex leaf players like antropov, sundin, wellwood. It didn't work in Toronto, it won't work in Vancouver either.....
